About Me
Abbe Wain, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at The Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Wain’s practice focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in pregnancy, contraception, and menopause.
Dr. Wain began her career at Mount Sinai after receiving her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine in 1992. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai and served as Chief Resident. During her residency she was honored with the Alan F. Guttmacher Prize for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology from The Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Wain is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
