Dr. Aponte received her medical degree from UMDNJ (now Rutgers) - New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Since completing residency Dr. Aponte has had experience in general pediatric outpatient and emergency room care. Prior to joining Mount Sinai West she was a newborn nursery hospitalist within the Montefiore Health System.
