About Me
Dr. Adam Belachew attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and then completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Cook County Health and Hospitals System in Chicago. Dr. Belachew is currently an Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Queens and functions as the Geriatric Champion of the department. Dr. Belachew is interested in social determinants of health, specifically racial and ethnic disparities in emergency care.
In addition, Dr. Belachew was born and raised in NYC, attended the Bronx High School of Science and completed undergraduate studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate NY.
