About Me

Dr. Adam Rothman received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and went on to complete his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel/St. Luke’s/West. During fellowship, he developed a passion for medical education, with ongoing areas of interest including goal-directed ultrasound and simulation-based learning.   Dr. Rothman is an Associate Professor of Medicine, based primarily at Mount Sinai West. He serves as the Chair of the CPR-RRT Committee for Mount Sinai Morningside/West, and is additionally a member of the Morningside/West Ethics Committee. He is an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mount Sinai Morningside/West, and in this capacity, he remains actively involved in medical education through the development of a comprehensive longitudinal point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) curriculum and through his ongoing involvement with the Center for Advanced Medical Simulation (CAMS).
