Adam Winters, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Winters completed internal medicine residency training at Mount Sinai and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. He returned to Mount Sinai for an advanced transplant hepatology fellowship, where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Winters has clinical and research interests in alcohol-associated liver disease and splanchnic vein thrombosis. He is a member of Mount Sinai's multi-disciplinary Liver Thrombosis Program, providing highly specialized care to patients suffering from blood clots affecting the liver and intestines. He has a passion for medical education and career development.
