During his Fellowship at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Morgenthau developed clinical and research interests in sarcoidosis. Dr. Morgenthau is currently the Director of the Sarcoidosis Clinic and the Alvin S. Teirstein Sarcoidosis Support Group at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Morgenthau has published extensively on sarcoidosis. He is currently a co-investigator on a clinical trial examining new treatments in sarcoidosis.

I find Dr. Morgenthau to be very professional. He shows concern and compassion when dealing with me. He eases any and all my concerns with issues I have with dealing with my health problems. I respect his decisions regarding my health and guidance. I appreciate the fact that I was able to be one of Dr. Morgenthau patients.
Dr Morganthau, was as always, focused, well prepared and extremely thorough with respect to the status/ changes in my medications, changes in my weight, breathing, coughing, other symptoms appearing since my last visit. Asking if I had any questions or concerns, and finally, indicating his satisfaction with my condition and suggesting that no additional imaging is necessary and we should continue to monitor my healthcare. We agreed that I should see him again within 3-5 months at my convenience.
