During his Fellowship at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Morgenthau developed clinical and research interests in sarcoidosis. Dr. Morgenthau is currently the Director of the Sarcoidosis Clinic and the Alvin S. Teirstein Sarcoidosis Support Group at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Morgenthau has published extensively on sarcoidosis. He is currently a co-investigator on a clinical trial examining new treatments in sarcoidosis.

Dr. Morgenthau is a very compassionate, thorough, and great doctor. He is one of THE BEST, and clear in his treatment plan explanation. He helped me get the best head and neck surgeon at Mt. Sinai with my very recent cancer diagnosis. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Morgenthau!!!!!

Dr Morgenthau was extremely thorough. He was prepared before he even came to the appointment by reviewing all the tests I sent to him. During the visit I was impressed by the type and range of questions he asked me about myself and my symptoms, as well as the type and amount of information I received about Sarcoidosis. We then talked about a plan of action for me.
