Adriana Marcela Pedraza Bermeo, MD
Urology
About Me
Dr. Adriana Pedraza Bermeo is a urologic oncologist specializing in the management of prostate, kidney, and urothelial cancers, including both upper-tract and non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer. In addition to her oncologic expertise, she offers robotic treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Dr. Pedraza completed advanced fellowships in Urologic Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital and in Robotic and Minimally Invasive Urologic Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic, and she holds a Master of Science in Urologic Oncology. She is highly experienced in both multi-port and single-port robotic surgery, with particular expertise in transvesical (through-the-bladder) prostatectomy—an innovative technique especially beneficial for patients with prior abdominal surgery. This approach provides safe access to the prostate while reducing recovery time and minimizing the risk of bowel injury.
An active clinician–scientist, Dr. Pedraza has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters and frequently presents her work at national and international conferences. She also contributes to the field as a reviewer for leading academic journals.
Dr. Pedraza’s mission is to deliver compassionate, evidence-based, and technically advanced care, ensuring that each patient receives the safest and most effective treatment while feeling supported and empowered throughout every stage of their journey.
