Aimee Telsey, MD
About Me
Dr. Aimee Telsey received her medical degree from the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. She completed her pediatric training at the Schneider Children’s Hospital, now the Cohen Children’s Hospital. She completed her fellowship training in Neonatology at Babies Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and at the University of California, San Diego where she spent one additional year in a fellowship for extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation in the NICU. She came to Mount Sinai Beth Israel in 1988. Dr. Telsey has a particular interest in integrative care in the NICU and was integral in bringing music therapy to the NICU in the 1990s. Dr. Telsey is on the Breastfeeding Task Force, the Pharmacy committee and the Pediatric Safety committee.
