Akira Miyanari, MD

Akira Miyanari, MD, is a board-certified family physician at Mount Sinai Doctors. He provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care, management of chronic medical conditions, and evaluation of acute concerns. He earned his medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaiʻi and completed his Family Medicine residency through the National Capital Consortium at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Miyanari served as a physician and medical director in the United States Air Force, practicing primarily in Japan. His experience spans comprehensive care across outpatient, urgent, and hospital medicine. Drawing on his practice in both the United States and Japan, he is particularly interested in providing evidence-based care that is attentive to differences in how health and health care are understood across cultures. He speaks English and Japanese.

宮成輝（みやなり あきら）医師は、マウントサイナイドクターズ・東京海上記念診療所に所属する認定家庭医です。予防医療、慢性疾患の管理、急性の症状の診断など、あらゆる年齢層の患者さんにプライマリケアを提供しています。ハワイ大学のジョン・A・バーンズ医学部で医学博士号を取得し、バージニア州フォート・ベルボアにあるナショナル・キャピタル・コンソーシアムで家庭医学のレジデンシーを修了しました。マウント・サイナイに入職する前、宮成医師は米国空軍で医師および医療部長を務め、主に日本で診療を行っていました。その経験は、外来、救急、入院医療にわたる包括的なケアに及びます。米国と日本での診療経験を活かし、文化によって健康や医療に対する理解が異なる点に配慮した、エビデンスに基づいた医療の提供に特に力を入れています。日本語と英語を話します。
