About Me
Dr. Distefano is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology. He performs both cosmetic and functional procedures, including botox, filler, eyelid and eye brow surgery (blepharoplasty, ptosis repair / lid lift, brow lift, ectropion / entropion repair), orbital reconstruction after Mohs procedure or trauma, various orbital surgeries, and tear duct surgery. Dr. Distefano sees a wide variety of patients for oculoplastic and neuro-ophthalmic concerns, especially cosmetics, eyelid drooping, lower lid bags, thyroid eye disease, ectropion, entropion, tearing or blocked tear duct, eyelid cancers, trauma, optic nerve swelling, vision loss, optic neuritis, pupil changes, and double vision. Dr. Distefano focuses his research activities on thyroid eye disease, eyelid disorders, and neuro-ophthalmic conditions.
