Dr. Maryansky is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Dr. Maryansky prides himself on the ability to treat all types and locations of pain, whether common back pain or rare painful genetic disorders. He is a strong believer in individualized medicine and the concept that each and every patient comes with a unique set of characteristics that treatment must be tailored to. Dr. Maryansky is an expert in procedural interventional techniques and has fostered a deep understanding of the role of medication management in treating pain. Dr. Maryansky also holds a profound professional interest in the utilization of novel technology to assist in treatment. App-guided meditation, spinal and peripheral stimulation, and virtual reality therapy are just some of the tools in his armamentarium.
Dr. Maryansky earned his degree in medicine from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Here, he underwent rigorous training in the field of musculoskeletal medicine and became proficient in diagnosis from a hands-on whole body approach. Following this, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Richmond University Medical Center and a residency in Anesthesiology at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai West. During this time, he received the award of 'Resident of the Year'. Next, he completed a fellowship in Pain Management at Mount Sinai Luke's and Mount Sinai West. Dr. Maryansky combines the pieces of his extensive clinical, procedural, and operating room education to ensure the speedy improvement and recovery of his patients.
For Dr. Maryansky, the patient comes first. Outside of intricate medical care, he understands the importance of patient convenience and evolving needs. With each patient, he tries to foster a doctor-patient relationship that continues outside of physical office visits. Utilizing telephone, video and digital messaging, Dr. Maryansky remains constantly available to patients on their journey to recovery.
