Dr. Rabinovich graduated with honors from Binghamton University with a BS in Biochemistry and completed his medical education at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He did his surgical transitional year at Flushing Medical Center and completed his ophthalmology training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospitals in NYC where he served as a chief resident in his last year of training. He then completed his ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Boston Medical Center. His areas of interest include repair of droopy eyelids, in-turning or out-turning of lower lids; evaluation of tearing and tear duct disorders; excision of lesions and reconstruction of eyelids, evaluation and repair of orbital fractures; diagnosis and management of tumors of eye socket, and evaluation and treatment of thyroid eye disease. He also specializes in a variety of cosmetic procedures such as removal of wrinkled eyelid skin and bulging fat, Botox injections for treating unwanted creases and wrinkles, and cosmetic fillers for facial lines and lip augmentation. Dr. Rabinovich is a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology and New York State Ophthalmological Society and he has presented his clinical research at various ophthalmological meetings.
