About Me
Alexandra Alfiero, MD, is an obstetrician-gynecologist at The Mount Sinai Hospital in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Alfiero earned her medical degree from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at State University of New York at Buffalo, where she also completed her residency. During her residency Dr. Alfiero received the Society of Gynecologic Oncology Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology award.
Dr. Alfiero has been published and presented on various topics such as the neonatal effects of beta blockers and cervical cytology.
Dr. Alfiero is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
