About Me
Currently, I work as a postdoctoral fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai under the supervision Dr. Yasmin Hurd where I am investigating the neural mechanisms by which cannabidiol (CBD) reduces relapse to opiates. I utilize a multi-pronged approach combining in vivo region specific and cell type specific projection imaging with RNA (bulk and single cell) combined with ATAC sequencing to characterize the molecular transcriptome and epigenome associated with opioid relapse prior to and following treatment with cannabidiol.

Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
