Alexandra Fayne-Frederick, MD

Dr. Fayne-Frederick is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center and the Mount Sinai School Based Health Center.

She attended the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Sciences, part of The City College of New York, and graduated with a degree in biomedical sciences. She received her medical degree from State University of New York at Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. She then completed her Pediatric Residency at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, and Adolescent Medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. During her fellowship, she was a fellow at the Leadership Training Academy through Physicians for Reproductive Health, where she learned to effectively advocate for reproductive rights and confidentiality for adolescents.

She has a strong commitment to continue providing adolescent health care to young people in accessible ways to mitigate economic barriers. Her clinical focus includes comprehensive reproductive health for adolescents and young adults within a reproductive justice framework.
