Dr. Alexandra C. Villasante Fricke MD is a board-certified Endocrinologist dedicated to helping you achieve lasting health and wellness through convenient, fully virtual care. Her practice specializes in the following conditions: weight management, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and menopause.
After completing undergraduate studies magna cum laude at Duke, Dr. Villasante graduated with Honors in Research from Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her internal medicine residency at Brown University (Rhode Island Hospital) and her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism from the University of Miami (Jackson Memorial Hospital) where she was chief fellow.
Dr. Villasante is currently licensed in NY, NJ, and FL. Dr. Villasante can provide care in English and in Spanish. She believes in providing patient-centered care and guiding patients towards health and wellness and believes that healthcare should be a collaborative journey. She looks forward to partnering with her patients.
