Allison Jeddis Sauler is the Associate Director, Quality & Patient Safety in the Mount Sinai West Emergency Department. She graduated University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Sauler then went to New Jersey Medical School for her MD. Dr. Sauler completed residency training at St-Lukes-Roosevelt followed by a fellowship in Emergency Medicine Department Administration. Her areas of interest include residency education, specifically introducing residents to departmental QI and administration. She analyzes all 72-hour returns for emergency patients to identify issues and work on paths for improvement. Dr. Sauler is also spear-heading a call back program for high risk patients to enhance discharge instruction understanding and decrease unnecessary returns to the ED.
