About Me
Dr. Alon Leibovitz M.D. has served as the Associate Medical Director of Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Union Square Outpatient Clinic since 2017. Each day, Dr. Leibovitz is grateful for the opportunity to care for children and support families as they navigate their child’s health and development.
Before joining the outpatient team, Dr. Leibovitz spent 10 years as a pediatric hospitalist at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where they cared for children in a variety of settings—including the Pediatric Floor, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This experience strengthened Dr. Leibovitz’s commitment to providing thoughtful, comprehensive, and compassionate care to children at every stage of health.
In 2017, Dr. Leibovitz transitioned to outpatient pediatrics at Mount Sinai Union Square. Working in this setting offers the rewarding opportunity to build long-term relationships with families, watch children grow, and be a trusted partner in keeping them healthy, safe, and thriving.
Dr. Leibovitz's approach to care is centered on listening, understanding, and ensuring every parent feels supported and confident. They are honored to be part of each child’s healthcare journey and look forward to welcoming new families into the pediatric practice.
He is an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
After receiving his medical degree in Israel, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Winthrop University Hospital.
Dr Leibovitz is a proud Uncle, loves working out, and enjoys learning and traveling.
