About Me
Dr. Alon Mazori earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he also completed a fellowship in endocrinology and served as chief fellow. Dr. Mazori is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology at Mount Sinai Morningside & West. Dr. Mazori is board certified and co-leads the MSM Osteoporosis Program; his areas of expertise also include diabetes, thyroid and parathyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders, obesity, and polycystic ovary syndrome.
Dr. Mazori is committed to empowering his patients to understand their health and achieve their health goals. In every visit, Dr. Mazori listens to and values his patients' experiences, answers questions in detail, and works with patients to collaboratively create individualized treatment plans.

This was my first visit to this office; my previous endocrinologist left the Mt. Sinai health system. Dr. Mazori was completely familiar with my health situation and ready to take over my care. He explained how his office operates, and how/when to contact them. We discussed various approaches to my care and he listened to my input and preferences. He was professional, explained medical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, and confirmed that he was meeting my needs. He was also very personable and kind, using humor effectively. He offered practical steps I could take to improve my lifestyle and health outcomes. Dr. Mazori is an outstanding physician.
