Dr. Amanda Agyemang, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Immunology in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Agyemang received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Board certified in Pediatrics, she then completed a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology, also at Mount Sinai. Dr. Agyemang is also a researcher in the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute. With over a decade of research experience, including a program supported by the NIH, she has most recently focused her research efforts on food allergy. Her work has resulted in numerous publications and presentations. In addition to food allergy, her clinical interests include respiratory allergies, specifically asthma and allergic rhinitis.
