About Me
Dr. Rapp is an Assistant Professor in the Tics, OCD, and Related Disorders Research Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition, she is affiliated with the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment, the Mindich Child Health and Development Institute, and the Friedman Brain Institute. Dr. Rapp received her Ph.D. in Clinical Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed a National Institute of Mental Health funded postdoctoral research fellowship in the Center for OCD and Related Disorders at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Rapp’s research focuses on understanding the neural, cognitive, and environmental factors that contribute to anxiety and compulsive disorders in order to improve their detection and treatment during childhood. As a clinical psychologist licensed in New York and New Jersey, Dr. Rapp provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to adolescents and adults with anxiety and compulsive disorders.
