About Me
Dr.
Cosmatos is Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at
Mount Sinai in the Division of General Internal Medicine. He received his
medical degree from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He completed his residency in internal
medicine at the New York Downtown Hospital where he served as chief resident of
his program.
For more than 30 years, Dr.Cosmatos has been caring for patients in the Queens community. He has been involved in multiple health fairs in Queens in which he screens for hypertension, diabetes, and elevated cholesterol. His clinical interests include preventive medicine and the management of elevated lipids and cholesterol, diabetes, and hypertension.
Dr. Cosmatos is Vice President of the Medical Board of Mount Sinai Queens. He has also served as Vice President and Treasurer of the Hellenic Medical Society.
