About Me
Andrew Yu MD, FACOG is an board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and an instructor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Yu specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Yu provides rountine gynecolgic care as well as outpatient procedures, such as colposcopy, endometrial biopsies, and IUD removal. Dr. Yu also provides prenatal obstetric care for patients delivering at Mount Sinai West, including vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections.
Dr. Yu graduated manga cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where he served as administrative chief resident.
In addition, Dr Yu is a board certified clinical informatist. He specalized on physican wellness through optimization improvements with the EHR.
