About Me
Dr. Andrew Quinn joined Mount Sinai as a Gastroenterologist in 2022. After completing his undergraduate studies at McGill University, Dr. Quinn graduated with his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He then completed both his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine before moving to SUNY Downstate for his fellowship in Gastroenterology. With his board certifications by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Quinn's clinical interests include GERD, colon cancer screening, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, NAFLD, and colonoscopy and upper endoscopy procedures.
In his professional community, Dr. Quinn is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. His research interests have included Clostridium Difficile, Risk Stratification Scores in Lower GI Bleeding, and inappropriate use of PPIs in hospitalized patients with Lower GI bleeding. He has also had several published works, including a recent publication in the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology on the subject of the microbiome and colorectal carcinogenesis.
