About Me

Dr. Anjali Budhathoki has practiced Hematology/Oncology since 2017. After graduating with her medical degree from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, Nepal, Dr. Budhathoki completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital. She then moved to Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center for her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology. With her board certifications in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology, Dr. Budhathoki specializes in general hematology and breast, GU, and GI oncology. Additionally, Dr. Budhathoki can communicate with patients in both English and Nepali.

Prior to joining Mount Sinai in 2022, Dr. Budhathoki practiced for almost 5 years in the rural, underserved community of Aberdeen, South Dakota. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Budhathoki conducted research during her fellowship where her area of interest was hematologic malignancy. She also has several publications in peer-reviewed journals, including her clinical research from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Outside of her time in the office, Dr. Budhathoki loves spending time with her infant and husband, as well as travelling and reading books.
