Anmol Tank, DPM
Podiatry
About Me
Dr. Anmol Tank is a podiatrist with the Mount Sinai Doctors Medical Group, dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for foot and ankle conditions. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a concentration in Electrical Engineering, from The College of New Jersey, followed by a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University- affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson. She was first introduced to podiatry while supporting gait analysis research using the ReWalk exoskeleton at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, where she focused on neuromuscular signal mapping. She has actively participated in other research conferences, including the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Pediatrics Annual Research Day where she was awarded Distinguished recognition and the NorthEast Bioengineering Conference, where she presented her work on the design of a power wheelchair for individuals with quadriplegia.
She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Tank received advanced training through an extensive four-year residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, serving as Chief Podiatry Resident in her final year. With a holistic approach, Dr. Tank considers the whole patient—not just the symptoms—integrating lifestyle factors, biomechanics, and preventive strategies into her treatment plan. She is dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships with her patients, with a shared goal of achieving the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Tank sees patients in person at 226 West 14th Street and via tele-health. She is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and is currently accepting new patients. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, trauma, diabetic foot care, and forefoot surgery.
Being fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, Dr. Tank also values connecting with patients in their native language. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband and daughter, exploring new cultures and cuisines and has an interest in Ayurvedic medicine.

Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
Dr. TANK has not yet completed reporting of Industry relationships.
Mount Sinai’s faculty policies relating to faculty collaboration with industry are posted on our website. Patients may wish to ask their physician about the activities they perform for companies.
