About Me
Ann Frisse, MD, MPH is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist. Dr. Frisse holds an appointment as Assistant Professor in the Division of Complex Family Planning within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Frisse has received numerous awards for excellence in the teaching of medical students and residents. Her research interests include medical education in contraception and abortion, ultrasound imaging of IUDs, adolescent contraception, sexual education, and abortion safety. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national conferences.
Dr. Frisse received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College of Columbia University and her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she served as Chief Resident. She completed fellowship training in Complex Family Planning and received a Master in Public Health in Outcomes Research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
