About Me
Ann-Gel Palermo, DrPH, MPH, TIPC, ACC is the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Community and Culture and Director of the Center for Multicultural and Community Affairs and a Professor in the Department of Medical Education. A visionary leader, educator, and executive coach whose career spans academic medicine, public health, multicultural and community affairs, and organizational development, Dr. Palermo integrates faculty and learner engagement, pathway programs, and community-partnered scholarship to cultivate a thriving and inclusive academic culture across One Mount Sinai. She is a national expert in her field and has published and presented extensively about culture and inclusivity in medical and biomedical education.
