About Me
Anna Frants, MD is a board-certified and fellowship trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, neck, nose, eyelids, eyebrows, and ears. She graduated with honors from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. During her medical training, Dr. Frants completed a one-year research fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms of perineural invasion in head and neck cancers. She was then selected to complete a highly competitive five-year residency program in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at New York University School of Medicine. In her final year of residency training, she served as Chief resident at NYU Langone, Bellevue Hospital, and Lenox Hill Hospital. Through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, she was selected for the highly competitive fellowship in Beverly Hills with world-renowned surgeons, Dr. Paul Nassif, Dr. Babak Azizzadeh, and Dr. Grace Lee Peng.
While training with Dr. Nassif, Dr. Frants studied and performed complex revision rhinoplasty, rib and ear cartilage harvests, and deep plane facelift surgery and appeared on the E! show, “Botched.” With Dr. Azizzadeh, the founder of the Center for Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery, and president of the Sir Charles Bell Society, Dr. Frants was able to fully immerse herself in the world of facial reanimation, helping patients regain a symmetric and beautiful smile through the most innovative medical and surgical methods.
During her time in Beverly Hills, Dr. Frants also trained with numerous leading facial plastic surgeons, dermatologists, oculoplastic surgeons, Dr. Ben Talei, Dr. Justin Rome, Dr. Richard Zoumalan, dermatologist Dr. Rebecca Fitzgerald, and oculoplastic surgeon Dr. Guy Massry, studying deep plane face and neck lift techniques, eyelid and eyebrow surgery, lip lift, rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, hair restoration, skin cancer reconstruction, Botox and fillers, and laser treatments
