About Me
Anne-Marie Osibajo, MD,MPH, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Osibajo’s clinical interests include dementia of all types, various neuropsychiatric symptoms occurring in the setting of neurocognitive disorders, and other organic brain conditions. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Osibajo completed her medical diploma at the Lagos State University College of Medicine in Nigeria. She obtained a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University where she had the opportunity to explore her interest in improving access to health care for minorities and strengthening health systems globally. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Richmond University Medical Center in New York where she was the chief resident and co-chair of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Council and a recipient of the American Psychiatric Association Resident Recognition Award 2021. She completed her fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has training certifications in Electroconvulsive therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.
Dr. Osibajo’s research focuses on understanding the pathology of neuropsychiatric presentations in the setting of neurocognitive and neuroinflammatory disorders. She has an interest in utilizing interventional psychiatry in treating refractory neuropsychiatric conditions. She is involved in medical education and is also interested in quality improvement, reducing disparities in accessing health care for minorities, and expanding neuropsychiatric care to under-resourced countries.
