About Me
Ashleigh McGregor, MD is a native New Yorker and a board-certified Family Medicine physician practicing at the Mount Sinai Doctors Downtown Faculty Practice at West 8th Street. She was awarded her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed her postdoctoral training in Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut. She has a particular interest in patient advocacy, helping the underserved, aiding those marginalized from society, and tackling gay, lesbian, transgender, and non-binary health related issues. Dr. McGregor’s research interests include assessment and development of approaches to reduce ethnic and racial disparities in the community.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
