Ashley Ford, MD

About Me

Dr. Ashley Ford is a Board-Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist, currently serving as Medical Director of Child, Adolescent, and Family Services at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is also the psychiatrist for the OnTrackNY program, which helps adolescents and young adults (16-30) with recent psychotic symptoms achieve personal goals.

Dr. Ford earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her Adult Psychiatry residency at Montefiore Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident of Emergency Services, followed by a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at NYU Langone. She later joined Jacobi Medical Center as Associate Director for Child Psychiatry. Dr. Ford has been honored with the APEX Award and was named a 2024 “40 Under 40 Leader in Minority Health” by the NMQF for her work in reducing health disparities and advancing psychiatry.
