Dr. Ashwin Babuji is a dedicated and board-certified family medicine physician who holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the Icahn School of Medicine. Dr. Babuji practices at Mt. Sinai's West 53rd Street office in Midtown New York City, where he provides both in-person consultations and virtual visits through telehealth. This dual approach allows him to expand access to care, catering to the varying needs of his patients.
Before embarking on his medical career, Dr. Babuji earned a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He then went on to obtain his Medical Degree from Kansas City University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. His medical training was further enriched by his residency in family medicine at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where he developed a comprehensive skill set and deepened his clinical expertise.
Dr. Babuji places a strong emphasis on shared decision-making, working collaboratively with his patients to create individualized care plans that prioritize their unique health needs and preferences.
