About Me

Atar Singh Kushwah is a postdoctoral research scientist at the Women's Biomedical Research Institute, Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai in New York. His research focused on the functional and mechanistic significance of microbiome-mediated pharmaco-epi-genetic changes in the cervix and associated diseases.
Atar Singh Kushwah received his doctorate degree in molecular and human genetics from Banaras Hindu University, India. He joined the Center for Nanobiotechnology Research at Alabama State University, where he focused on immunosurveillance and biotherapeutics. Under the mentorship of Prof. Monisha Banerjee at the University of Lucknow, he's studied the pharmaco-epi-genetic analysis of DNA repair genes in cervical cancer. He’s also studied extensive clinical follow-up studies and vaccinology at King George Medical University, Lucknow, and Sanofi India, Hyderabad.
