Dr. Izaak is a Supervising Psychologist at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She studied Psychology as an Undergraduate at Brandeis University and received her Doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Izaak has over fifteen years of experience working with patients presenting with mood, anxiety, psychotic, and personality disorders. She provides individual psychotherapy to adults with a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, and dissatisfaction with interpersonal or occupational functioning. She tailors her treatment to each individual client's needs, employing a variety of exploratory, supportive, and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
