Dr. Balreet Kahlon is a board-certified Family Medicine physician licensed in New York and Michigan and serves as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She currently sees patients at 234 Central Park West as part of the Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Primary Care program.
Dr. Kahlon earned her medical degree from Aureus University School of Medicine in Aruba in 2017 and completed her Family Medicine residency in 2020 at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. She has been in clinical practice with Mount Sinai since 2020.
Dr. Kahlon is dedicated to building long-term relationships with her patients, emphasizing continuity of care and a patient-centered approach. She is known for her attention to detail, compassionate listening, and commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized care.
Dr. Kahlon’s clinical practice spans the full spectrum of primary care, including preventive services such as annual wellness visits and immunizations, as well as the management of acute conditions like upper and lower respiratory infections, gastrointestinal symptoms, chest pain, shortness of breath, musculoskeletal concerns, and dermatologic conditions. She also provides comprehensive care for chronic diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity and weight management, asthma, depression, and anxiety.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Kahlon enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
