About Me
Dr. B. Brian Paimany joined Mount Sinai as a Cardiologist in 2016. After graduating with his doctorate from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Paimany joined Long Island Jewish Medical Center for his Internal Medicine residency. He then rounded off his training with a Cardiology fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital and Medical Center. With his board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Paimany's clinical interests include arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, and Ultrafast Calcium Score CT.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Paimany has conducted heart failure research with the New York Heart Research Foundation. He has also published articles in professional journals on topics including cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac C-reactive protein, and 3D echocardiography. Within his professional community, Dr. Paimany is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association, and holds Fellowship status in the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
In the office, Dr. Paimany uses his years of work and expertise to offer personalized treatment to each patient. He is also multilingual, with the ability to communicate with patients in English, Farsi, Russian, and Spanish.
