About Me
Dr. Benclement Gervacio joined Mount Sinai as in Internist in 2019. After earning his undergraduate degree from NYU, Dr. Gervacio graduated with his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He then completed both his residency and fellowship at NY Presbyterian in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease, respectively. With his board certifications in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease, Dr. Gervacio specializes in seeing his patients for their primary care needs. Additionally, Dr. Gervacio is multilingual and can communicate with his patients in English, Tagalog, Spanish, and conversational Japanese.
Before joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Gervacio worked with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Health in primary care and sexual health clinics. He has also been involved in research work within the field of Infectious Disease and is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Infectious Disease Society of America.
Regarding his time practicing medicine, Dr. Gervacio believes in providing culturally competent and comprehensive primary care to all patients, especially those in underserved areas.
