Dr. Bernard Schayes is an insightful, compassionate internist with more than 30 years in private practice. He has developed a successful practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan based on his philosophy of delivering high quality care in a caring environment.
Dr. Schayes has expertise in genomics and provides his patients with tailored lifestyle management, wellness, and anti-aging plans. Dr. Schayes has treated thousands of patients with a wide range of chronic health conditions.
Dr. Schayes received his M.D. from the University of Bucharest. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Nassau County Medical Center in New York. He is currently a board member at Emblem/GHI and a chairman of the company’s Medical Quality Committee. He has served on an executive panel focused on improving healthcare quality at Aetna/US Healthcare. Dr. Schayes is a clinical assistant professor of family & community at New York Medical College, a member of the Touro College and University system.
