About Me
Dr. Bhanu Singh joined Mount Sinai South Nassau as a Gastroenterologist in 2023. After completing his undergraduate studies at St. John's University, Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. Dr. Singh then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center through Mount Sinai's Icahn School of Medicine, followed by his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the same institution. During his final year of fellowship, Dr. Singh served as Chief Fellow for the program. To finish his training, Dr. Singh completed a second fellowship in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Singh is double board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His clinical interests include Barrett’s Esophagus and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy. He serves as the Assistant Medical Director of the Center for Interventional Endoscopy at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital.
In his professional community, Dr. Singh is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, and the New York Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. Dr. Singh is also involved in academia as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine. He serves as a teaching attending for medical students, residents, and fellows at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital.
