About Me
Dr. Bharat Kantharia is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. He is President of Cardiovascular and Heart Rhythm Consultants. Prior to his current post, Dr Kantharia was Professor Medicine at the University of Texas in Houston. As Director of CCEP fellowship training and EP laboratories at University of Texas, and Ohio State University, he trained many new generation of Cardiac Electrophysiologists. Dr. Kantharia serves on the Editorial Board of many prestigious journals including the Heart Rhythm. PACE, JICE, EP-Europace, IPEJ. Besides being a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of the Physicians, AHA, ACC, and ESC, Dr. Kantharia is a fellow of the HRS, and currently serves on many committees of international scientific societies, including the Governance Committee of the HRS.
