About Me
Bobby Liaw, M.D. specializes in the care and management of patient's with genitourinary and sarcoma cancers. He serves as the Clinical Director of Genitourinary Oncology for the Mount Sinai Health System, as well as the Medical Director for the Blavatnik Family Chelsea Medical Center at Mount Sinai.
He received his undergraduate degree at Cornell University, medical education at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, graduated internal medicine residency from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and completed his hematology/oncology fellowship training at Mount Sinai.
In addition to providing multidisciplinary care in the fields of genitourinary and sarcoma cancers, he is actively involved in clinical research. His main academic interests are in the translational and clinical investigation of genitourinary malignancies, with particular interests in developing new biomarkers and treatment strategies for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
A close personal interest of his is to help bridge cultural gaps in order to improve quality and access to healthcare to the Asian American community.
