About Me
Dr. Boram Kim received her medical degree from NYIT-College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside/West, where she also served as Chief Fellow. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Kim joined Mount Sinai as faculty at MSBI and the Respiratory Institute after graduating fellowship in 2020 and is also part of the Pulmonary faculty at Mount Sinai West. Dr. Kim is an Assistant Program Director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship program at Mount Sinai Morningside/West/BI as well as the Director of Ambulatory Education at the Downtown Respiratory Institute. Her clinical focus is Asthma/Severe Asthma. She is interested in evaluating primary determinants of outcomes in asthma patients. She is additionally working on a number of QI initiatives within the Downtown Respiratory Institute, including evaluating the use of Point-of-care Ultrasonography in the outpatient setting.
