About Me
Borna Mohabbatizadeh, MD, is a board-certified breast surgical oncologist and Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Breast Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Mohabbatizadeh treats patients with breast cancer and benign breast disease. He is passionate about developing care plans that are personalized to each patient’s specific needs. He has expertise in modern surgical oncologic techniques to optimize cosmetic outcomes and works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide the most advanced care.
Dr. Mohabbatizadeh completed a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Icahn Mount Sinai and residency in General Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. He earned his MD from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University.
