Bremy Alburquerque
About Me
Bremy received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As an undergraduate researcher in the Weiss Lab, Bremy worked on developing new tools for RNA-based therapeutic regulation through the use of genetic circuits.
Bremy is currently a PhD student in the Genetics and Data Science MTA in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is a member of the Bakel Lab, where he focuses on genetic determinants of antibiotic heteroresistance, and microbial adaptation to hosts.
