About Me
Brendan Connell, MD serves as Associate Chief Medical Information Officer (ACMIO) for Mount Sinai Health System.
Previously, Dr. Connell served as the System Director of Clinical Informatics for Emergency Medicine, where he provided guidance and expertise to further improve electronic systems, serve as a liaison with other departments, and with Digital and Technology Partners, enabling a seamless patient experience through MyMountSinai.
Dr. Connell joined the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West in 2013, after completing his emergency medicine residency at NYU/Bellevue, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Connell attended Northwestern University School of Medicine, graduating in 2009. Prior to medicine, he trained as a computer scientist, and gained expertise from academic, government, and industry settings.
