About Me
Brit Trogen, M.D., M.S., earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics, First Class Honors, from the University of Alberta in Canada, and her Master's Degree from Imperial College London, UK. She completed medical school at New York University where she received the Vilcek Merit Scholarship, and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She received the Leonard Tow Award for Humanism in Medicine upon graduation. She completed residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at New York University/Bellevue Hospital.
Dr. Trogen completed her fellowship training in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Mount Sinai. She conducted research in numerous aspects of the field, including immune deficiencies, food allergy, atopic dermatitis, anaphylaxis, eosinophilic esophagitis, and FPIES, and has published and presented her research at numerous national meetings. Dr. Trogen is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the Clinical Immunology Society, and the New York Allergy and Asthma Society and the New York County Medical Society.
Dr. Trogen treats both adult and pediatric patients for all types of allergic conditions and immune deficiencies, including allergic rhinitis (hay fever), allergy shots, antibody deficiency, common variable immune deficiency, food allergy, asthma, nasal polyps, sinus disease, hives, eczema, contact dermatitis and patch testing, insect allergy, and medication allergy.
