About Me
Bruno Caridi, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Caridi’s practice focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in low-risk and high-risk obstetrical care and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery.
Previously, Dr. Caridi was with Presbyterian Medical Group (PMG), a department of Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He served as lead physician at the PMG practice and was Chair of the Women and Children’s Medical Staff Affairs for Presbyterian’s Central Delivery System where he oversaw the OB/GYNs and pediatricians for three hospitals in the Albuquerque metropolitan area. He also has held the titles of OB/GYN Vice Chief and OB/GYN Division Chief at Presbyterian Healthcare Services.
Dr. Caridi is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the Society of Honorary Police Surgeons of the City of New York Police Department. Dr. Caridi earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He began his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and completed his training at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.
