About Me
Candice Fraser, MD, MBA, is a board‑certified Obstetrician‑Gynecologist and Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her clinical practice spans the full scope of gynecology, with a special interest in menopause care. She is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through The Menopause Society.
Dr. Fraser currently serves as System Director of GYN Quality and Patient Safety, where she leads gynecologic quality improvement initiatives, co‑chairs departmental quality meetings, and collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to advance patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical outcomes across the health system.
She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and holds an MBA from Marist College. Dr. Fraser has held multiple leadership roles within the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) District II, including Section Chair/Vice Chair and service on the Legislative Committee.
